CIBCC is Thailand's premier invitation-based business case competition, attracting teams from 20 esteemed universities globally. What sets us apart is our focus on real-world engagement. CIBCC offers a unique LIVE case study experience where teams visit the company site, witness executives present the company's vision, and engage directly with stakeholders. This hands-on approach fosters deep understanding, encouraging insightful solutions that go beyond theoretical analysis.

These cases take real-life challenges, opportunities, and dilemmas faced by firms in Thailand with an endless number of possible topics ranging from new products, disruption transformations, rebranding, financing, and marketing.

Case A

All teams will be given 8 hours

to prepare for Case A.

This case, designed to be more concise, will test the team’s ability to rapidly analyze and strategize within a condensed period.

Case A will account for 30% of

the final score

Case B

All teams will be given 24 hours

to prepare for Case B.

This case is intentionally designed to be longer, requiring strategic thinking and comprehensive analytic skills. The winners will be selected based on their presentations for this case.

Case B will account for 70% of

the final score

The team with the highest combined score from Case A (30%) and Case B (70%)

in each division will advance to the Final Round.

Bangkok & Chon Buri, Thailand

CIBCC showcases Thailand's beauty by changing venues yearly, allowing exploration of top destinations like Bangkok, Phuket, and Hua Hin. This blend of professional development and cultural immersion makes CIBCC truly distinctive in the world of business case competitions. This year, our CIBCC 2026 will be held in Bangkok and Chon Buri.
